Molly & Courtney Anderson practice the day before the recording, adding their wonderful violin expertise to the CD, a special gift to Mrs. Judy, and one that she will never forget -- And just as a side note, a little know fact is that Molly & Courtney were the "Leech Sisters" on Guard Your Heart a dozen years ago! (They've come a long way!)
Molly & Courtney pose with Judy's grandson, Micah Laughlin, Jr., who added some lilting notes on the piano to "The Meek".
Emma Claire Laughlin, Judy's nearly 7 year old granddaughter, prepares to sing "He'll never say, 'Have a nice day...'" on the Mercy song.
Matt taught the kids many vocal exercises to aid their singing, which was already beautiful, of course!
They sang their hearts out :o)
Matt gave Mercy a big thumbs up for singing her parts on , what else but... "Mercy Looks Like Jesus!"
Four first cousin girl singers! Mercy Morecraft, Ariane Belcher, Emma Claire Laughlin & Emily Barnes
Judy and four singing grandchildren, Emma Claire Laughlin, tall brother Jacob Wayne, & brother & sister Owen Cly & Emily Leland Barnes
Ariane waxes dramatic while Hannah Caison smiles at the camera for Mrs. Judy! More smiles from Mercy, Kristin Hawkins, & Sarah Stanfield :o)
Getting dramatic aids one's singing, according to the vocal coach, Matt Garwood :o)
Kate Krogh came from Wheaton University where she is a premier harpist to offer her musical gifts to Judy's Beatitudes CD; what a wonderful expression of meekness & mercy!
Matt & Kate work through some chord changes.
Kate’s smiling because she's about to make heavenly sounds break forth from the harp!
Ariane Belcher, Judy's niece from Virginia, sings on "Pure in Heart", a song Judy wrote with her little voice in mind for the high parts seven years ago!
Can she pull it off seven years later? You bet! Thank you, Ariane, and thanks be to God who was so gracious at every turn of this recording. May it bring Him much glory in the coming years.
